Marty would be the better choice I believe - but will he bring his "I can still be a starter" drama

Seven years at around $8 million is a good deal all around. PK will probably be the highest paid D-man (by average salary cap hit) for a while. Montreal will have him locked up for 7 years, and when the cap goes up that hit will probably look pretty reasonable in a few years.

Chances of subban are slim. Expecially if he signs long term. The chance of Stamkos is decent. But getting Babcock is very real. Only a few teams will be able to compete with the contract they will offer him.

Subban is a huge d bag. I would love to have his skill on the team but I still would hate him whatever team he is on.
