we can't all afford the luxury of having studs like Gryba and Methot in our top 4 ok, cut the rest of the league some slack and save some d for us

Montreal plays the speed/ skill game and are quite good at it,my only issue with them is that when they run against big physical teams that play displined hockey .(not stupid running guys hockey that bruins played against them last season)They tend to suffer,it like most teams in the east is a work in progress

Its all about a good first pass - with Murray , Gorges replaced by Gilbert , Beaulieu - should make exiting the zone a bit easier - it was a nightmare watching them clear the zone

Really thats what you are going with ??Gryba is a very good bottom pairing defender that hits blocks shots and clears the crease .Think Hal Gill lite .Methot is a big fast shut down defender that plays a pretty simple game kinda like georges but faster

Nope i get what you are saying ,puck movement is important .And its montreal,s bread and butter,but you do need the physical element in there as well .Right now i dont see that ,there are pieces coming along in but it still needs to be developed a bit more

When your pair up guys like this, with skill like EK ,Wierccoh and Ceci .You can see what kind of defense Ottawa is developing .Good enough answer for you sunshine

Dont have one really, but i guess Turris followed by Zbad ,Legwand and Zsmith .I like our forwards we are a 4 line team with some really good potential on all lines.The defense is still very young and in some cases still raw ,but even if it posts modest growth from last season we should be in the mix come playoff time
