Hey you're sharp as a razor.
There was an article about this yesterday also. We pretty much covered all of the excitement on that blog, but thanks for monitoring the contents of the comments on a Devils blog there jimbro. - TRDevil
Take a look at your blog here. The Rangers were the hot topic. I particularly love "Martin St. Louis is another year older" from fans of a team that will rely on Elias and Jagr for its offense. That's a good one. |

Don't forget Zubrus(36), Ryder(34), Salvador(38) and Zidlicky(37). All spring chickens. |

Jagr, you mean the 42 year old that out scored everyone on your team, or Elias who was 6 pts back of your leading scorer despite playing 12 less games. Those are the guy your talking about right? |

We still have a future. Prospect pool is very thin. But a future none the less. Stepan, Brassard, Kreider, Zuccarello and Mcdonagh all under 30. |

Ya but they also scared him away from the NHL for 3 years, although that may have been Sam Rosen's beak, I mean nose |

The last playoff Jagr was in he scored zero goals. Martin St. Louis was at times dominant in the playoffs. I am actually really looking forward to a full season of MSL TWO YEARS COMING OFF THE ART ROSS. |

I know I was just exaggerating cause I don't like that one guy. You're always level-headed though, so you're good in my book |

Jagr had also played more games that season than he had ever in his career and was getting 3rd line minutes and hit the post god knows how many times. And yes St Louis is two years removed from winning the art ross, but he's also not playing with the best goal scorer in the league anymore |

I'm most looking forward to Rick Nash trying to justify a nearly 8 million dollar cap hit. |

To be fair, the Rangers didn't sign him to that. Granted they have to pay him now. But that cap hit came with the player. |

While that's true, they gave up Dubinski, Anisimov, Erixon and a 1st for him. Now they give up 8 mil in space for a long time. I wouldn't be happy with that move if I were a Ranger fan. |

Win some, lose some. I bet the same can be said for Kovalchuk. You guys gave up a trade for him. Nothing of real value in terms of picks/prospects. But than the money and he just bailed. Win some, lose some. |

The real sting from the Kovalchuk debacle was this past years draft where the #11 pick turned into #30. Other than Oduya the only thing of value we sent out was our #1, however, Atlanta sent us their 2nd rounder which turned into John Merrill. |
