You could have went to med school and became a Doctor. Not sure why the Doctor is to blame for the cost of services when he has no input at all on the actual cost of the services. All of that is determined by the insurance companies and to a certain extent the government.

But hey, hate the Doctor.

Actually, non-union. And no, I don;t blame or hate the doctor. Good for him. He did a great job.

According to the US Bureau of labor, the median pay of a doctor is $187,220 a year.

For a firefighter the median pay is $45K, Police is $57K, teacher is $55K

Not begrudging doctors, or saying they don't earn their money, but calling them lowly paid is asinine.

Oh, see you just misunderstood me. I said Medicaid reimbursements are low. That's why most doctors don't accept it. Which hurts the poor etc. I didn't say doctors don't make good money.

Like giving birth with Medicaid pays the Doctor 150$. My mother is medical biller, it's the only reason I know the rates for some of these things.

55k is good pay for a teacher. I'm surprised that is their median pay.

I can count on my hand the teachers I've had worth a crap over 20 years of education.

Nothing was worse than taking "Reading" in College. Not kidding. We learned about main idea's and subjects, in college. Pretty sure if you didn't learn this stuff before college you shouldn't be in College, but whatever.
