How? None is making moves right now. Still the off season. No trades being made. He's acknowledged the fact that we need another defenseman. But right now it isn't going to happen. As we sit we're a bubble team; playoff contender till the end, especially with Luongo. One more defender puts us over the top. Just gotta be patient. Let players begin to report to camp. We'll bring someone in. Relax.

Exactly! Patience, something will happen when the time is right. Tallon is playing golf somewhere right now and enjoying his time off. When camp starts, I can almost guarentee we make a trade for a defenseman. It's bound to happen with the roster we have. We are so forward heavy and if we add one right handed defenseman, we will be extremely solid! Patience, people... Patience!

Put down NHL 14 and think about things before you go create your custom Subban jersey. He would never come here; he's Canada born and Canada proud. And please don't mention trading for him as an RFA.. that would REALLY set us back. Let it go.

I'm not female doging about Subban per se'. But, you said "that type" and that is just bullshytt and the attitude that brings this franchise down. "That Type" as in Crosby?, Malkin?, Tavares? This is what I mean. You need to have these type of guys WHILE you have guys like Barkov, Hubey, etc. Good players and cornerstones as a superstar like a Subban, Crosby get to show them how it's done. This IS how most teams are built, not just from scratch hoping your draft year after year develops a leader/star. You GET one, then put the young players that you see that have a future (and at the time making the lower dollar), and make a run. While I stand by Dale, he does mostly wrap the team around secondary players, for reasons debated here forever. But, dont give me shytt about Subban being the "wrong type" of player, that's plain and outright stupid. Those type of guys MAKE this team a winner today.
