Why would they trade lupul for dman.. would have to package another d and make for a true #1d but dont know who would be out there other than yandle and I dont see the leafs going after him with Rielly and Gardiner in the lineup. If Granberg struggles they do have decent option in the minors to step up on the 3rd pairing.

I think they might do it to get a number 1/2 guy to play with Phaneuf. It would make them a better team.

I never said Lupul for Yandle.. I said that dealing Lupul for a dman doesnt make sense and if it did it would have to be Lupul in a PACKAGE .. and then went on to say that I cant see Toronto going after Yandle to begin with. There is no way they get rid of Lupul with a package for a number 1 dman.. what are they going to do put Booth/Komarov on the 2nd line? So no, I dont see how it would make them a better team unless Nonis could magically trade Franson for a second liner who can put up numbers and play with heart

No thanks to that deal. I don't think the Wings want to trade Jurco and if they did, it wouldn't be for a UFA to be and a 3rd round pick. This would also leave the Wings with too many defensemen and over the cap once DeKeyser is re-signed.

Most I would give for Franson is Kindl.

I would consider myself a knowledgeable hockey fan and Yandle is the Coyotes best player with OEL second.Yandle is a beast and would probably get between 70-80 points a season if the Coyotes didn't have 4 checking lines for forwards.I watched all 82 games and Yandle always stood out.He rarely misses a game which cant be said for some guys like Hanzal,Smith and Korpokoski.I would say easily the Coyotes have the worst forwards in the league with Calgary second and Ottawa third.Buffalo and Florida are close but at least they have youth and play their youth and after next years draft Buffalo should be stacked for years with all of their early first and second round picks.

Yandle isnt near the two way defender oel is. Noteven close.
Oel controls the game at both ends of the ice and is easily better than yandle at moving the puck up ice from the defensive zone.

Id wager you wont find many people who agree that yandle is better than oel. More points? Yes.
But weaker at every other facet of the game.

Oel isnt just their best dman, hes quickly becoming one of the best defenceman in the game. Id say top 10 already

This isnt saying yandle isnt good, but oel is the franchise player
