He couldn't of said it better. The fans are delusional in Montreal. Losing Subban to UFA in 2 years would be a travesty, and the fans deem that impossible and cannot even imagine it happening. It's like the guy who thinks his wife would never cheat on him and it happens. In pure denial that this can happen

I've been a long time reader of HB, and I had to finally create an account to comment on this article. For a hockey writer you have no idea what you're talking about. This is not about MB thinking Subban has anything left to prove, or that he is immature, I have never once read about that, I think that issue is over and done with.

As everyone else has pointed out, you clearly do not seem to understand how arbitration works. I just felt like I had to say something, because I could not believe how out of touch you seem.

Figures why you're a Buffalo Sabres writer.

No see it's people like you that don't get it. You do understand PK will be UFA in 2 years? Habs will lose him for nothing like many of their past UFA's. and if they do trade him they will not get fair value back in return. Stop being in denial and thinking its impossible to Lose Subban. It could very well happen. Habs brass are dinosaurs. Who they going to hand of the torch at the home opener, P.A Parenteau?

Les Habitantes should just check their

Hey Garth,

for the record it's not "Les Habitantes but "Habitants". Not sure if it's only a typo error, which I hope it is since you are a hockey blogger. Next time, use "habs" -- short and sweet

Wow. It's pretty clear this guy blogs for the Sabres and not the Habs because he has no idea what's actually going on within the negotiations.
