Well if Yak is 5' 11" then that dude is about 5' 9" so Johnny be good is even smaller....
He seriously looks like he's 14 years old....
He can barely see over the press conference table..

pouliot, nuge, eberle
hall, arco, yak
perron, draisaitl, purcell
hendricks, gordon, pitlick
i think these are my fav combos. and the most spread out. can always switch perron and pouliot if need be
nuge/ebs get some grit and size that has talent and can still pay with them.
yak and hall can drive play and shelter arcos offensive shortcomings.
the 3rd has skill, size and scoring. and two solid wingers to shelter draisaitl |

Nice, I like those.
I think the benefit of adding guys like Perron, Pouliot and Purcell is that you don't NEED to have Hall-Nuge-Ebs together. I hope they split them up, simply because I think Hall produces with anybody and Nuge-Ebs have the better chemistry of the trio. |

I do think pouiliot on your top line is a bit crazy, but who knows could work. Guess is its no different when McGinn moves up to play with Duchene and ROR when injuries happen.
But guys like that are best suited for 2nd and 3rd line minutes. Stretching him out like that might not be ideal. I still think you are 1 player short. draisaitl should really go back to juniors unless he is the best player at camp. Bring in another C at camp to battle for the 2nd/3rd line spot with Arco

Only thing I'll say is that at this point I've got no confidence Pitlick is going to stay healthy. Even though he's a worse skillset for a shutdown line, Lander get my vote at 4RW |

after i wrote that I was looking at cap geek to see what UFA Cs are still available...slim pickings.
only a slightly useless old balls Handzus pops out but I'm pretty sure he retired.
No one really at the 2nd line C spot, some plugs for 3rd line C like Steckel or Gomez but if thats the case just roll with the (frank)ing German |

did saku retire? I didn't see anything about him calling it quits yet. IF you could steal him for a 1m type contract why not |

We'd be wild not to at least invite Loktionov to camp.
Also, Stars have 13 forwards, 5 dmen and two goalies signed, so 2-3 more additions (Brenden Dillon and Cody Eakin are RFAs). They have 5.3 in cap space left. I'd love a look at Eakin.

I'd probably keep Hall-Nuge together for power vs. power.
Hall-RNH-Purcell
Perron-Arco-Eberle
Pouliot-Draisaitl-Yakcity
something like that. Maybe flip Eberle and Purcell |

no way the move Eakin. Plus they have to do something with Peverley, not sure if hes medically cleared to play, so he might get LTIR.
Also I hope the stars sign Penner. Get the Horcoff Hemsky Penner line back together |

I'm thinking MacT waits to see what they have in Leon at training camp. If he ain't ready I'm betting Petry gets shipped out for a centre |
