Winnik and Komarov will help with that up front. I find it hilarious that Winnik has more points than Clarkson and Kulimen combined last season. I don't think people realize just how disappointing our bottom 9 forwards were last season, offensively and defensively. - mykokes
kadr was still on pace to be a 50P centre in his first full year.. to me, thats good.
otherwise i agree with your post |

how many of his shots made it to the net compared with the others d-men on the team.
has he hurt any of his team mate with his shot? - zazzle
i dont care about that at all
fransuck needs to learn how to stop shots as well, be able to not turn the puck over a 100x a game, to be more than just a shot

yeah i know, just saying would of been nice to see a significant upgrade through trade for at least 1 higher end player like a bieksa or bogosian that is right handed. Dont really know polak until i see him play but would of preferred a significant upgrade to our defense. The defense to me is still incomplete and needs one more higher end guy in the mix - DougGilmour_93
i know what you mean, however, i do think having an equal distribution of righties and lefties is going to make a major difference.
guys will be able to play their strong sides this year |

Bogosian will cost you a fortune, and Vancouver probably wanted your first son for Bieksa because like always, they want a massive return for an average player.
Polak is a gritty big body Dman who plays on the PK. He's a good addition for the bottom pairing - jbold
I think the whole phase of the nucks asking for a massive return is gone, since they have a new GM now. Bogosian i can see a big return for him |

In Yost's comments section, he is going on about how PK is better than Shea Weber, and that there is a tier of only three D at the top of the league, being Doughty, Karlsson, and Subban.

You know I think over the next couple years Subban may become better then Weber over all. |

I'm probably the biggest Kadri pole-smoker here lol. And he did score 50 points! and 20 goals!
I don't think he played his best or was consistent all season, and I don't even blame him for it. But I had big issues with our 2nd and 3rd lines, especially the wingers. Lupul, who I was a big fan of before last season, couldn't figure out which wing he was playing half the time.....and the others, under the guise of being defense first wingers that couldn't play a lick of defense, did nothing to create offense. They rarely established a forecheck, and rarely made opposing goalies lives hell. The only thing they did well was score off the rush. Komarov, Winnik, and hopefully a rejuvenated Clarkson, if they can forecheck well, and press opposing teams d into making mistakes or being in the offensive zone for longer periods of time, then I think better things will happen. |

He has a +ve CF%rel but a very -ve GF%rel. The latter has declinedin conjunction with his QoC rising.
He also has risen to >30% SHTOI, which happens to correspond with the time that we forgot how to kill penalties.
The fancy stats back up what we see; he has a good, accurate shot but is still a defensive liability, especially when asked to take harder minutes. - lumlums
did you ream the PPP article I mentioned?

There is nothing laughable about someone thinking PK is/could be a one of the top 3 defenseman in the league.... |

I guess someone should have told Mike Babcock this, considering he benched Subban for most of the Olympics. |

you're just focusing on the negative of the player.
a lot stuff you're saying happen the d-man on this team.
he just need to cut down on those (tim hortons not the player) turnovers.

Neither is Subban right now. |

This is the reason I don't see Polak with Franson OR Granberg, and why StuPerMan may get the nod over PG-8. Need a Lefty since Dion prefers right side |
