Not many 2 liners are getting 3 million a year they are generally 4 to 5 range..

They only have to fit their active roster under the cap once (or just before) the season starts. If they have to pay Jake 4 mill, they can put one or two one-way contracts in the minors to clear the room.

Based upon both history and my own two eyes, I believe Booth has a much better chance of doing that.

Based upon stats, I also believe Winnik and Santorelli have a greater chance of doing that than Komarov.

Their three salaries combined are a little more than Komarov's, and they only have 3 years of contract amongst them, compared to Komarov's 4.

Based upon both history and my own two eyes, I believe Booth has a much better chance of doing that.
