Victoro311 talked so much about him that I'm sold on the kid. Seems like a possible top 6 player on the making. Sign me up. - Barnaby36
To be fair, I'll oversell anyone who comes out of the Hockey East, but hey, maybe I'm right about this one. |

Is he better than Beau? Is he ahead of Kapanen on his development? |

Better than Beau? I wouldn't say so, but I have a high opinion of Bennett. If only he could stay healthy....
Ahead of Kap? I would stake almost anything except my mother's life and anything my parents left me in their will that he is more NHL ready than Kapanen.
At the end of the day the reason why we need this guy is because he'd actually give us a close to NHL ready top 6 forward prospect. He's not high end, but his ceiling is well above moderate and its about time we get youthful depth in the top 6. |

They are all worse than the worst WHL player. But I am biased. |

How dare you say that! Joe Vitale and Rob Scuderi are Hockey East products!!!!
On a real note though, they have some pretty expressive alumni.
Johnny Quick, Ben Bishop, Patrick Sharp, JVR, Shattenkerk, and Brooks Orpik just to name a few.
Never mind the Rick DiPietro behind the curtain. |

Only one of those guys could make in the WHL. Hint...the Canadian one. |

You're right. Just to have Hayes in the system would be so valuable for us. It would be kinda like the Jarome iginla trade didn't cost us our first rounder and we selected a forward.
Unlike Beau and kapanen...Hayes has the frame to be effective as a third line guy if he ddoesn'tpan out up top. Beau, kapanen, hayes , and Hornqvist would be pretty nice set of top 6 youngish wingers. Last year it was just beau and Neal . that would give some insurance as Kunitz and sDupuis get older and Sid and gGeno are in their late primes.

Looking at the Blues lineup and damn they have a solid 3 lines. Hell, alot of people have them rolling Steen out on the 3rd line which just seems nuts to me. |

We'll almost right there with them. I've never been afraid of St.Louis. |
