Thanks Ek. I know that things are kind of slow right now, but some fans want something big, and when it's not there, they criticize.
I hope that Leino doesn't come back to the Flyers, but it's not up to me. The way that Hexy has been going, I would be surprised that he does bring back Leino instead of bringing up one of the younger guys. In addition, why spend money on Leino when your back is up against the cap? I am crossing my fingers on this one.

I'm surprised both these guys aren't rumored to be heading to Toronto. The leafs seem to be buying all the (s)crap and busts no one else will touch with a ten foot pole. Must be all the sweet corsi stats they now know how to read!

No one, not even Flyer fans should care about Leino signing there, but Ek posts EVERYTHING to do with Philly, regardless of how minor the move. In the last 5 days there have been 4 (Frolik, Tatar, Brassard & Eller) signings in the NHL without a peep from Ek.

I actually like the moves the Leafs have made. I think winnik was a good pickup and santorelli could be a steal as well. I think they really improved their bottom 6 and depth with some cheap under the radar signings

Ditto for Anaheim, unless it's a two-way deal and they keep him in Norfolk the whole season.

I'm not against Leino on a deal around 900,000. His performance in Buffalo was horrendous, but if he could get back to what he did well in Philly. A LW who can make plays and hang onto the puck... well that's exactly the type of player Lecavilier desperately needs. The question remains, can Ville still be that player. Y'know at least long enough to convince someone that Lecavilier aint' total crap and take him off our hands.

So how much do you guys think del zotto is seeking? Length and money.

I think he's pretty good and wouldn't mind him in Detroit, but we're starting to run thin on money with the horrible contracts wasted on Cleary and quincey.

I just felt like tossing some gas out there with that comment, tbh lol. But doesn't seem like everyone from Subban to stamkos is rumored to go to the leafs and they just end up with ex khl/Swiss leaguers and cast offs looking for a 1yr/1mill shot to prove they still can play in the nhl? Lots of "?"s regarding their 3rd/4th lines. Also, after checking cap geek they still don't have 7 D on the main roster. I would think that one of the worst defence teams in the east would be trying to add more than a 37 (I think) year old D man who broke the same leg twice last year. More gas thrown out there lol
