Wrong. If there was a spot there for him, he'd play in Chicago. But there are no available spots for him, unless he came in and beat out 5 or 6 quality players for a center position, who are just as good or better than he is.

Well, he doesn't want to play for the Hawks. Like I said, it doesn't matter why, whether it is because he wants a for sure spot, he wants to be in the east, etc. Who cares if he is not going to be that great?
This kind of stuff just happens in sports. Guys don't want to play for teams for various reasons. If he is entitled or spoiled, or he just hates the city, or he wants to play in California, or he doesn't want to play in Canada, or he wants to go to a tax generous state like Florida or Texas, he doesn't like the way his brother was treated, etc.
It doesn't matter. Most around here think he will be a nobody. Yet it is a huge deal, he slighted the Blackhawks.
