I remember my Dad (RIP) we gave him an iPad to do facetime and he would put it up to ear instead of looking at the screen, had us the floor every-time.

Agincourt does sound nicer than Scarborough.

Until you realize it includes Chester Lee.

- Feeling Glucky?

Chester Le was a horrible area, grew up in the area. It was so bad, but they cleared up. It's horrible in Bay Mills & Glendower, and I went to high school in between those two neighbourhoods.

Know the meat shop just west of chester le, on Vic Park?

Worked there in high school. Greek 5'4" ex-special ops sniper boss told us to keep an eye out for people who looked like they were from Chester Le.

Gotta love old-world racism.

Finally touched base with Pops. He's all confused when he has to text.

He says he went to George S. Henry Academy .....in Don Mills. Apparently he's also sensitive about the use of "north york".

- The Law

Then your Pops and I are sworn enemies.

Although I once saw the Spoons play at Henry...

Nicey's right? Or no wait, was it in the plaza with Blockbuster?

Those kids literally always rolled in groups, and usually on their bikes. Kinda scary at times, but luckily i never really encountered them

My mother was the only human who put her shoulder into clicking a mouse.

It was very cute.

(edit: she isn't dead - just her mouse skills have improved. Reading my own post kinda freaked me out, so I wanted to clarify)

Would it be fair to call those kids from Agincourt a Band of Brothers?

My parents don't know how to text, and have no desire to learn how. I've tried showing them, especially since my mom feels the need to call me while I'm at the office for any little thing, and can't take a hint that it's not a good time to talk.... but she's yet to master the TV remote, so I don't have much hope.

Interesting now when you go on to the MLS web site, find a house and click on Demographics. The info on there whether correct or not, startled me a little bit.

Know a few people who lived in that block.

I have one friend who lived there... laziest guy I know. He's somehow in insanely good shape, but won't walk a single step more than he has to. He was supposed to meet me at my old place, right beside Sir John A... I called him up, and he said he was on his way. 45 minutes later, he still didn't show... so I called him again and asked him what was up. (frank)er was waiting for the bus on VP. He owned a bike. Wouldn't have been 5 minutes.

You can do tract analyses on the government website, from the previous census... so the information is accurate within 4 years... probably where they pull it from.

On the plus side, I head up to my parents' house about twice a month to "fix" everything electronic in the house. Most of the time it's the computer.

The computer is in my old bedroom at the end of the upstairs hall. I'll typically bring my kids up to my parents' house to distract my parents. So my kids will stay downstairs or go in the backyard. I'll go up to the computer, reboot it (solving the "problem" 99% of the time) and then I'll surf the 'net for 20-30 minutes. If my mom comes upstairs to check on my progress, I have enough time to minimize Hockeybuzz or Sports Illustrated and call up something from the control panel that looks complicated.

I'll then come downstairs, declare the incredibly technical problem to be solved, and say that it shouldn't be a problem from now on.

My mother will be so grateful, she will pledge a night or two of free babysitting.

Yes, I'm an evil genius.
