Well, Winnik put up 30 points last year... I don't think any of our bottom-6ers did that last year... so I don't see him going down... Santorelli and Booth were signed as a pair, IMO... so I doubt either gets sent down... Komarov is obviously staying...

Maybe Kontiola, though I don't think he bought himself out without some assurances, aside from the one-way contract.

i've never watched him play but there's a quote out there from his agent, Gandler, that says the team told him he's "penciled" in as the 3rd line centre. I assume they lined him up to play with Komarov - who was also promised a bigger role.

I think Kontiola and Holland are probably "penciled" into the 3/4 centre spots.

They can both line up at all forward positions. And Komarov can fill in as a center too, if need be.


I think playing a few games with Kadri and McClement as the only centers has them paranoid about centerman injuries.

I like that 5 of the bottom 6 forwards are able to play Center if need be. Helps with winning draws when a guy gets thrown out, provides injury assurance, etc.
