My sister-in-law drank the Lance Armstrong Kool-aid. He could do no wrong. The book was inspiring, blah blah blah.
I said something about how all cyclists of the era were cheaters (at a family dinner) and she absolutely exploded on me. She was personally hurt by my accusation. It was bizarre. There was an uncomfortable tension in the room for about a year afterwards whenever we got together.
Of course a couple of years later he did the Oprah interview.

I was on the Armstrong bandwagon too. I remember a CNN peice talking about how insane his mutant body was- no lactic acid buildup in his muscles, crazy lung capacity, a heart that could work way harder than the average athlete's heart... can't believe "drugs" didn't click right then and there... especially when they were saying they didn't know why he was like that, and maybe it had to do with the radiation therapy... because he only improved after the cancer.
...and the genius with that theory went on to be the US's surgeon general, who did a 6 month 180 on weed. |

Absolutely. Kadri was on the hunt for weed here when he came for Dion's wedding. - walshyleafsfan
I was in PEI two weeks ago - oh poop, what a place.
Definitely going back.
I pulled up a few beach chairs, let me tell you! |

Let's say there are 14 spots available - you have to send down 4 guys:
http://stats.nhlnumbers.com/teams/TOR?year=2015
Orr, Ashton, McLaren, Smith are my guesses.
Or maybe they keep one of Orr or McLaren for the press box and occasional goon duty.
Should be interesting. - Atomic Wedgie
that's my guess because of his contract is not to expensive for the leafs. |

as far as I'm concerned, so long as you hold up your end of your responsibilities, whatever they may be (some have more than others) what you do in your spare time is your own damn business.
unless you're wasted and driving risking others well being or anything along those lines |

That means the strain(s) you've smoked are indica.
Try sativa strains if you want the opposite reaction.
Indica strains helped me get over my insomnia though... should be the #1 prescription for that, IMO. |

Could only imagine Tyler and Nzaeem together. I'd imagine Jake would get caught up in it as well. Round to Phil's house to raid his Skittles collection. |

The lines are a bit blurred for professional athletes, though.
Funny substances in certain amounts will affect performance.
So if you are giving a guy millions of dollars to produce, is it fair that he's doing something away from the game that has a negative effect on his performance in the game?
It's an interesting question. |

Well, if we had Phil and Seguin on the team, that'd mean Kadri, or the pick we used to take him, would be in Boston. |

In theory, it translates to a team that can roll 4 lines, that all are a threat... giving the first, or at least 2nd line a easier time when it comes to scoring.
Might see the return of ppg Lupul/Kadri. - Feeling Glucky?
it is a contract year for kadri so he may do really good this year. |

LOL he's a douche but he has given me tickets before. He actually plays with del zotto in a men's league against me believe it or not (well they've played like 2 games each). Connor brown too. Seguin loves the sauce it's no rumor. |

Well, THC will let you go through the pain easier... so you can bounce back to your work-out... in theory, anyways.

oh I dont disagree with you on premise.. however.. whats morally right and what actually happens rarely coincide as well.
there is also the aspect that you are paying these guys to be role models as well.
where does their personal space begin and end? its not as clear as some would think. |
