If you are fighting (the right guys) and winning like they were during the lockout the others feel bigger. last year the big guys weren;t fighting and/or winning os the team felt smaller and played smaller. I didn't say was the only thing, but it plays a part.

MAc was weak along the boards. avoided taking hits at the expense of not getting the puck out. MAcArthur wasn't tough or gritty.
