Id do Reimer for a 2nd. Franson for clitsome...ehhh. - JVR_42_PK81
Yeah it's not awesome. Franson won't sign with the Leafs again ever (I believe). What's the most you can get for 1 year of Franson? Maybe a 2nd? |

Gardiner is a turn over machine...tons of offensive talent, but has a lot to learn about playing in his own end. he ill get a bridge deal....the focus will be Morgan Reilly not Gardiner sorry mcleafs - Kinggilmour
He's one of the best possession guys on our backend along with Rielly; he's underrated because he's not physical, but somehow he manages to be one of the only D who can make a controlled zone exit with the puck. |

I agree. You do Franson or Reimer for a 2nd.
So do you do say Reimer for a 2nd
And
Franson for Clitsome. Probably.
I can't imagine management like Franson. And he Gonzo after this year. - walshyleafsfan
I was surprised listening to a recent interview with Reimer. He admitted that while he never requested a trade he did tell management that he thought perhaps it would be best for both parties of he moved on. He said that he has recently felt more inclined to stay now,and hinted that Shanahan was the reason. He was a little guarded, but surprisingly candid for a hockey player. (Not including Grabovski)
In regards to Carlyle he said he holds no resentment or negativity towards him. Time heals all wounds, so to speak. |

Gardiner is either our #2 or #3 this season, and we should lock him up long term and everyone here will agree come season end that we should've and remember this post. - mcleafs
Gardiner needs to learn how to play defense. He'll get the time and protection on the 3rd pairing. PP time - sure. Rielly is the real deal however.
Damn you KingG! |

Yeah I saw that. That's what I thought as well. However, he MUST know in his heart of hearts, he's a back-up. There's no way the management prefers him over JB |

He could be helpfull this season. Id say keep him and at any time if the leafs feel that granberg is ready then trade him. |

If we can package him as part of a deal with the only team in the League that thinks Reimer is a number one, I say do it.
What is Franson going to help us do this year? Win the Cup? He's gone after this year and I would rather have Clitsome and cap space. |

Could help with playoffs. I would just wait. I don't think we need clitsome.
Would take a pick or prospect over him. |

Cap world, need to take some money back. I think a 2nd round pick that will be in the neighbourhood of 35 is the most you could hope for when trading either Franson or Reimer. So in Kinggilmour's proposed trade you take back Clitsome. |

Yeah. To hit a HR left handed and the right handed in one game is quite the skill. You gotta respect that. |

Not to mention breaking the windshield of a Honda out in the parking lot with the second homerun.
Speaking of which, where is GC? |

this is going to be a tough year to watch......................again - Garnie
Don't agree with this, leafs lost barely anything offensively (MayRay and Bollands couple games will be more than replaced with a 4th line that can actually score.) and they added possession players to a potent offensive team. The D will look MUCH better when they aren't playing 60+% of the game in their own zone. |

bolland had 2 goals (2 pts) in his last 8 games he played when he returned from injury... we wont miss bolland much... as he missed majority of the season anyways. Mayray we will miss his point production but i think guys like booth, frattin, santorelli, holland, winnik, clarkson will compensate and chip in the needed goals + assists needed. The player i am most eager to see play is David Booth, hope he has a strong season and bounces back. |

You idiots drooling over the fake roomers of a 14-year-old typing in his parents' basement would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad.
A kid from Tecumseh hangs around agents and MLSEL staff all day? And they openly talk about trades with him? Where is this magical place - is it a unicorn farm?
The only agent King Gilmour hangs out with is David Frost.
You guys need to give your heads a really good shake.
Sheesh! |
