the trade deadline?
- zazzle

I sincerely hope so... and that they don't go seek out a 7th FA defenseman.

Leafs will challenge for a playoffs spot and have a good chance of make it in, 7th or 8th.
- Pea-Brain

I'm hoping so, not really keen on having Gardiner on top pair and think we fail to make the playoffs if he is.

Hoping we acquire a more defensively minded D to play with Phaneuf, or we have 1 already and Gard's is playing more PP, 4 on 4 and 3rd pairing.

Mind me asking how much you pay for that?

I'm looking to cut the cord with Rogers - I'm sick of paying for cable - my kids just watch stuff off of Netflix.

My Sony smart tv also has the NHL game centre.

And can you get Leafs games on that, or are they blocked out?

Thanks

- Atomic Wedgie

hey! any game that is broadcast nationally is blacked out. last year that was wednesday night on TSN, CBC, and RDS.

This year with Sportsnet taking over the national package, there is going to be way more nationally broadcasted games. The NHL released some of the national broadcast schedule for Sportsnet but it's not a full list. No one really knows what's going on with the new TV deal so you will have to wait until they announce everything in September.

My feeling is you will need Rogers Cable more then ever.

I think Percy will be the best fit in that spot in a couple years.

Rielly could to obviously, but depends how his game rounds out.

Phaneuf is basically a hybrid now. Another strong hybrid with him would be a good pairing.

I never bashed the guy but it is weird it took so long to be announced. Maybe Nonis was stuck in his fishing hut.

I wasn't here... just hearing about it.

But if he says what he said, and it didn't happen, he's in for a nothing but ridicule for the foreseeable future on this sight.

be a pretty stupid thing to lie about... especially for Winnik.

Stamkos, sure, (frank) with us

I think we will see some 2nd line pairing also.

It will obviously depend on his play

I'm hoping he plays great just not expecting

that I like, I was one here who said there is no use for those two in the lineup.

So this means like I said before, one of Holland and Ashton or both are gone.
