Kane is way over-valued anyway...let someone else give up too much. Frankly I would even do a Kadri for Kane straight up swap.

I am not sure that the Leafs would give up 2 of those 3 pieces but all 3 pieces would probably be the asking price and some team would come closer than the Leafs would.

On the other hand, name the last big name player that went for equal or greater value in a trade?

Other teams would give similar up or more. A second line Center, a second pair dman and a 1st. For a 1st line power forward.
