Kane plays with mediocre players and was 4th among Jets forwards in PP time per game, 50-55 points in that situation for a 22 year old powerforward with speed is impressive.

if you're talking about a Kane trade with the Leafs, you're likely looking at someone like JVR going the other way. similar players with similar offensive output. JVR on the better current deal but Kane is the younger player. i'm not sure why people think Kane has such little value.

Also, this is exactly what my point was. Kadri averages .02 more points per game than Kane. I'd hardly use that in any argument that he is significantly better than Kane. That averages a difference 1.64 points over an entire 82 game season
