Maybe that is some of his intent, but I don't understand the sigining of 3 3rd/4th line centers...Santorelli, Winnik, Kontiola....Not to mention having Holland (promised a spot) by my count that means there must be a deal involving moving a center on the horizon (i.e. Naz or Bozie ).

I think Nonis is getting all the players he can for 1 year deals and hope a few of them gain a lot of value over the season and then trade them at the deadline for free assets.

Its curious though because shanny said they wanted spots open for the kids they seem to be all full now. I still see a trade coming but still.

People still think Neal for Goligoski was a steal but I think Goligoski is the better player. When it comes to trades people always view the forward better than the Dman. Neal was good because of Malkin, Goligoski is a good defender on his own.
