Wasn't that long ago that Chicago was on top of that list, with no conceivable end in sight, so you never know what the future will bring.

IF P.K. isn't signed before his arbitration hearing Friday what do you think he would get at arbitration

10G 53 Pts this season. Similar TOI to Chara, Keith, Letang.

My guess would be between 7-7.8M for 1 year

He's a point per game player in the playoffs, how is that not showing up?
- Yeti1181

For the record, Sundin was also pretty good in the playoffs.

I think the highest ever Arb award for a Dman was Weber at 7.5. Pk will be in that range as well I think.

The three closest in numbers are all starters. What are you trying to prove?
- Yeti1181

I listed 2 starters...

Reimer has played 140 NHL games, how long does he get to prove that he's a starter? I understand goalies can take longer to develop but the fact of the matter is he is nothing more than a solid backup at this point. Here are some interesting numbers of goalies with a similar number of games played.

Cory Schneider 143 2.12 .925
Jonas Gustavsson 141 2.91 .900
James Reimer 140 2.85 .914
Sergei Bobrovsky 179 2.46 .919
Devan Dubnyk 173 2.90 .909
Joey MacDonald 133 3.00 .902

The basic problem with Reimer is perception. He was thrown in as a Savior #1 Goalie by Burke in his rookie year and did very well. Burke, Wilson, the media and fans all held him to an extremely high standard... but based on very little evidence. But by doing so, his development began to wane and then the media shots that he was no longer stellar plus Monster and Bernier internal competitions. I like Reimer and I hope he gets a fresh start elsewhere.

Well Reimer has been a starter in the NHL and yes he had a poop season but still has been a starter and helped a team to the playoffs. I also really like Tokarski but I think you're still jumping the gun in declaring him better.
- Yeti1181

Of course, this is just my personal opinion and I could be wrong. I also don't think Toronto should be trading him just yet.

Let me guess, you want him in net for all the games against the Habs this year....so we can evaluate him properly of course.
