Toronto's goalies have had the luck of playing under a defensive minded coach for the past couple of seasons... MAF hasnt. Shockingly enough, MAF's best seasons in the playoffs came in the 2 years he played under a defensive minded coaching style.

Pretty much, the one time we had a defensive coach he turned 6 no namers into one of the best defensive cores in the league and they went to back to back western conference finals.

Yes it does are you that oblivious? It's what the leafs did from 2003-2010 roughly. The management is pressured to win now so they trade prospects for washed up players so we could just make the playoffs. If leafs fans would relax they wouldn't feel pressured to do that poop.

Good luck with relaxing Toronto. The new guys up top seem to have identified the issues, hopefully it works out soon.

If I'm picking between Reimer/Bernier and MAF/Griess... i'll pay the extra 700k and take MAF/Griess.

MAF has proven he can do it but has unfortunately been shot down as the result of poor coaching... neither Reimer or Bernier have proven that they can do it and lead a team in the playoffs. might they be able to? sure. but give me that guy who has already done it.

Thing is, most people don't realise the Canucks are over paying for Miller. Which is something you should be thankful for and letting it fly under the radar instead of being a Lack about it. Then again, you did soak up the Luongo and Schneider for 600 FIRSTS, 800 TOP 3 PLAYERS, 900 TOP 2 DMEN like a tampon...so being you is all you know.
