Tavares is the only superstar player I actually think may actually hit UFA in the coming years. If NYI is still a mess by 2018 and haven't built a contender around him in that space of time then they do not deserve him.

I'm not going to argue with you because neither side can prove anything until the season is under way. But I think they are worse now than last year. Kontiola the new KHL savior. How have the last few best KHLer fared? Not well. Komarov meh. Polak a downgrade. Robidas hobbled. Santorelli is a good signing. Booth lol.

No, my left nut is the bigger one. I've said for years that Price Will be the best goalie in hockey eventually, but that doesn't make the Habs a lock.

robidas had a broken leg which people can come back from so not too worried about that and he should add some veteran leadership on the back end which can always be valuable.

Komarov will add some energy and defence to the bottom six. I think he's thoughy of as Bolland replacement so if he makes more then 30 games they'll be alright.

Polak knows what the defensive end looks like so that's a plus and added grit can't hurt.

I know nothing of Kontiola

Booth and Santo add better mobility and more offence then our previous 3/4 lines, they are basically replacing one of Orr, McClaren or McClement so they are an upgrade.
