I was arguing with him for an hour. He was saying save percentage is irrelevant and you can't judge a goalie on save percentage. Meanwhile it's the best way to judge a goalie.

To be honest not sure why booth over Winnik anyways.

Edit: only thing I can think is that they hope booth can bring more offence, play higher in the lineup.I think Winnik is harder worker, tougher, better defensively, can play pk.... But is 4th liner, maybe 3rd where as booth is probably 3rd liner and maybe 2nd if he can stay healthy and get back on track.

Booth is more of a low risk high reward player. They could get from anywhere between a 2nd line player to a 4th line with him. Winnik is more of a garentee. He's no more than a 4th liner but you know what your getting. He's a mcclement who can actually carry the puck.

I honestly have no idea where Robidas' game is, but I won't be surprised if they pair him with Phaneuf and tell him to never cross the centre line.

Robidas can't play those minutes. I thnik Gardiner is a better fit.
