Exactly....might be reason enough to not sign him if Hartly knows exactly what kind of pansy league it is.

Maybe the Flames bring in Meuller on a PTO...much like Raymond with the Leafs last year. I wouldn't mind it, but I think we have enough vets. Not too many spots for the kids as it stands right now.

There will be enough injuries with Hartley pushing each player to their absolute max

It amazes me how many people would rather keep Hiller than Ramo. I thought it was obvious to role with the younger healthier of the two. Plus Ramo impressed the hell out of me last season December and on whereas Hiller is a good stop gap but he is what he is. Time will tell I guess.

I'm firmly in the Ramo camp. Hiller is the backup. He was brought in to push Ramo the way Berra did last year. Like I mentioned earlier in the thread, Ramo posted incredible numbers from November 29th on last year. If the Flames could have kept the offense going we could have been a playoff team based on his goaltending.

Do we have another Kiprusoff story on our hands? They both joined the flames at similar ages.

I think he's struggling to find content right now... not a ton going on these days.

We could talk about how much Bouma's worth, but when we're hovering just above the cap floor that's really kind of irrelevant.

I agree. The only reason the Hiller signing was necessary was to make sure Ortio can get lots of starts in the AHL and as insurance. I think it's a smart move to help Ortio. We will be running with Ramo and Ortio soon enough.

Can't really make up stuff to talk about these days....need to try and be creative. That said, I'd rather not put out a really lame article for the sake of writing anything.

Well, some days I dont have much to talk about...there's no real news to speak of, and...well...just aint much going on.

So rather than throwing something together for the sake of posting, I'd rather wait a day and write something a little more thoughtout...like today...a 5-6 pager
