What are your thoughts on Tom Gilbert wearing #77?

I see there's a few players wearing 77. To me it's Bourque's number. I get he's not as great as Lemieux was, but just like 66, no one in the league has worn it since he retired.

Anyway, was just wondering what you all think..

Bourque, Coffey, Turgeon, Jeff Carter at one point...

too many people wore it... 99's an exception...hell, if they did that every time no one would wear #1, 2, 4, 7, 9, 10, etc...

I'm okay with Gilbert or anyone else for that matter wearing 77...

Yes, I know

Gilbert, Corvo, Carter, Belov, Hedman, and Smith-Pelly wore it last year.

Just asking your thoughts on it.

Yeah...isn't the same in my mind. Don't really care, I think the only guy who ever used #77 with the Habs is Pierre Turgeon...

En plus, Bourque à eu ses meilleurs saisons portant le numéro 7.

he wore 77 for his best season and for both Bruins cup appearances.
