I just think Toronto is being used for stamkos to get a big pay day from the lightning next summer and it will work.

I think it was Adam Proteau who pointed out that this line of thought is wrong. Stamkos IS leverage. He doesn't need to use the Leafs to get a big payday. He'll get the max contract wherever he chooses to go. |
