Yeah, I'm not totally sold on this signing yet. Truthfully, I was a little bit perplexed why you'd trade Thompson and bring in Boyle.

Okay, Boyle's bigger dude... but Thompson seemed to do the same job with better wheels, an inexplicable out-of-nowhere clutch ability, and had some long-term leadership experience with the Bolts.

if stamkos goes to toronto then fine, but say goodbye to every piece of talent you have (not much) because it will all be coming back to tampa in the trade and stamkos will be left carrying the team on his own

He's fast and has a wicked shot. Would have to get an enforcer to play on his line though. Dudes keep punching him in the face and he just turns the other cheek..

Best part is the hockey hair though and he doesnt have to cover it up with a helmet either cause he was playing well before the rule change.

I think he signs a 8 year extension and then leaves for the Leafs. He still got a few realy good years left and could help them! I would be a happy with that, 16 years in Tampa and maybe 4-5 years in Toronto!
