The other day I was surfing the 'net and had one of those experiences where 30 minutes later, I had no idea how I got to where I got.

Anyhoo, according to an article on Cracked, the creators of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ripped off the Daredevil comic (or paid homage to it - depending on your perspective).

Daredevil: kid walking along gets splashed with radioactive material from a drum that falls off a truck, turns into Daredevil.

TMNT: drum with radioactive material falls off truck, spills into sewer, four turtles turn into ninjas.

I'm not a comics guy at all, so it seemed pretty believable to me.

Booth was one of the reasons canuck fans wanted to string up Gillis. There wasn't much defending of David Booth going on and not many people disappointed he was bought out.

A mil and change is a cheap price. Even if he has a good season in TO he won't see a 4.5 mil deal again. Staying healthy and keeping his head in the game and not hunting will be factors.

Raphael Diaz would be an interesting free agent to sign for cheap.

On the topic of TMNT, anyone with Netflix needs to look up Turtle Power: The Definitive History of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I thoroughly enjoyed that doc. Gets a lot of wheels spinning, pushes the nostalgia button and has me quite apathetic towards the new flick.

Also, I get that CGI was a cheaper option, but if Hollywood had just spent the time and money to evolve animatronic technology instead of purely abandoning it for CGI, the poop they could accomplish these days would be out of this world!
