A lot think Booth will be Raymondesque but better, others don't like Marlie players who have earned the chance being told basically, you have no shot as they keep signing players to one year deals.

Ya, I'd be surprised if he cracked the top 6 too...save for injuries. But the nice thing is that you now have an extra player who can (challenge) for the top six, which is always healthy. This, my Leafs friends, is called "depth"

I'm okay with keeping most of the marlies together in a winning team.

The fact that the other guys got 1-year deals I have no issue with. If everyone got 2-4 yr deals it'd be another story

As far as forwards are concerned, Holland is a given to make the team, and Ashton, Leivo, and Broll could all see time.

Man, you won't believe how unbelievably bad the weather is here in Edmonton today. Its been throwing it down with rain since 9 last night, some hail too.


It's almost like there's a loose sea in the sky with diamonds...

Booth didn't earn his $4.25M last year, but he was damn sure better than Ashton and Frattin

If he was making $2.5m he'd still be a Canuck, and they'd be happy about it
