Made some brilliant moves attempting to revamp an incredibly thin roster.
Hes made a marginal misstep here and there, but they were low cost so I dont think its derailed any long term plans.
As tough as a job as hes got in revamping said roster, being forced to overpay for free agents etc; I love the stuff hes said for his vision for this franchise.

I watched a lot of Leaf games when I was in Toronto and always thought Dubnyk looked pretty comparable to Reimer. The fact the Scrivens couldn't beat out Reimer for the #1 goalie job in TO says a lot about Scrivens ability and I really don't expect him to be much of an upgrade over Dubnyk.

Perron for prv was a homerun.

Two superior tenders for basically a 4th rounder (got his back in the schultz trade)

Adding much needed size for a guy who was pretty redundant on the oilers. And apparently was gonna be moved away from center anyways.

It is what it is, but arcobello probably isnt a huge dropoff from gags. And most importantly is better defensively.

Hes made more changes than any gm in the game in the last calendar year. Alot of good ones, but as I Said; a few marginal missteps.

Mac T is the only management/coach that I've actually liked from Edmonton in a long time. Something about hearing Eakins' talk makes me grind my fukin teeth, I still think he was a bad choice. The oilers should've opened up the checkbook and brought in an experienced coach IMO.
