I like the combinations, but gotta think they are paying that 4th line too much (10+ mil) to be a 4th line. Make em the 3rd line and Hollands line (3.5 mil) the 4th. It is not really a big deal, just give em 10-12 mins each a night with lines 1-2 getting 18-20.

Does anyone care about the rumors of booth not being "passionate" about hockey? He's on a 1yr deal at just over a mil. If he contributes at least a mil then who cares. If he was a young guy that was a potential draft pick itd be different, as you'd be investing more than 1mil into him and looking at him as the future.

Do you even care about GAA? I admit I don't like the stat for a goalie but it is considered to be a big stat for them Reimer's is much much worse. And who cares if he signed with a 9.12? He has a 918 now which is better than Remiers. He dosnt deserve the same amount. Let go of Remiers D he isn't as good as Bernier.

if the Goalie is stopping .915 thats good... the gaa is tied to the amount of shots.
so if the leafs give up 100 shots a game, Reimer or Bernier will let in 8. his gaa is 8.00 but he is stopping them at a good rate. The reverse is true also.

It's more or less a win win situation. If he doesn't produce at a level that management expects he'll lose his job to a younger, more determined prospect already in our system. I still think it would have been nicer to promote someone this year but this way competition remains tight. IMHO I think he'll fit in nicely but I'm not convinced that he'll turn around his career at this point.

It's more or less a win win situation. If he doesn't produce at a level that management expects he'll lose his job to a younger, more determined prospect already in our system. I've heard that clarksons problem last year was that he was trying too hard to do too much. Trying to earn the new contract. Maybe if he worried about just playing hockey, playing his game/style and not worry so much about being a Zamboni too.

If you think he takes a Marlies Job..well shouldnt that marlie be able to earn the spot anyways? Most think Booth sucks so shouldnt be hard then
