I think Rielly is going to double whatever he did last year.. He played 5-6 d-man last year! They better play him top defense minutes this year.. I read some Winnipeg jet fan , talk crap about the leafs selecting Rielly over trouba.. Laughing at us for passing Jacob up... I think trouba is the next Phaneuf and Rielly is the next Doughty.. Just my opinion

I think he will, brings speed to the team, will chip in some goals here and there, good addition for the bottom 6 but i wonder who will get the 2nd line duties with kadri and lupul? booth, santorelli, frattin, clarkson? they should rotate all 4 to get a feel who best fits that line

I think if he's healthy he could very well be good for us. I still see a trade coming relatively soon that perhaps includes lupul and Franson and i think we could get solid return as both have good Co tracts for what they bring.

Agree. We all know Booth had a poop year last year but he for the most part has been a 50 point + producer in his career and perhaps playing with skills like Kadri will assist with that as well hopefully clarkson crashing the net will gather him a few points.
