Of course, I'd never want to count out a team with Giroux. He gets pissed off and he can carry a team a long ways. Plus, if Mason can be as good as he was last year, they'll be very solid in goal and have a fighting chance every night.

If you replace "Giroux" with "Datsyuk" and "Mason" with "Howard" it's a very adept assessment of the Red Wings.

If the Flyers really hope to move VL in a trade this season or next summer, the best thing would be to let him play center with Voracek on his wing to set him up, and get him on the first PP unit.

Maximize his production and pray another team will overlook his faults.

It is somewhat of a stretch for me seeing Berube actually doing this, but if they want to deal him it may be the way to go.

Full training camp with Chief at the helm should help a good deal too, especially with the younger players.

I'd rather hope some playoff team has a center suffer a season-ending injury a week or so before the TDL.

I'm not sold on Berube. I do like that he seems to learn from mistakes, but I still have questions about some of his decisions.

Still a full camp should definitely help matters.

More or less, they do. I think they'll be in for a rough spot in 2-3 seasons. they just barely made it last year.

Is there such a thing as never having any questions about a coaches decision?

I'm disappointed the heist discussion actually ended. I was hoping to learn more about the use of thermite, ECM jammers, and thermal drills.

I think losing Jim Nill was a big blow to their front office, and now they're having some issue luring free agents. Still, they're a smart team and generally find a way to retool on the fly and have success

If you've ever seen the new(er) version of Ocean's Eleven or The Dark Knight, that's pretty much how they all go down.

Oh c'mon man, you've been reading my off topic BS posts for how many years? You should know it's the video games, not TV. I just so happen to play a bank heist game on a near daily basis.

If you have any tips on how I could refine my game, I'm all ears.

I have serious doubts about their ability to continuously contend when they eventually lose Zetterberg and Datsyuk. You saw what losing Nik Lidstrom did to them. As great as Tatar/Nyqvist look, some guys you are really hard up to replace.

Actually, bank robbery isn't that risky, especially if you avoid banks without armed guards.

Bank branch employees aren’t trained to be heroes—they’re trained to be fully compliant with perpetrators, and are unarmed. In addition, banking branches usually have very similar layouts and procedures that can make it easy for criminals to plan their attacks. Because of this, more than two-thirds of bank robberies are completed within three minutes or less, and oftentimes the criminals are so stealth that banking customers may not even be aware that a robbery is taking place until after the fact.

When you factor in the high success rate of bank robbers in the U.S.—just 10 percent of all bank robberies fail—then you’ll begin to understand why criminals opt to commit these sort of crimes. But, short of keeping your money under a mattress, just remember that there are at least some ways to avoid being involved in a bank robbery

More C-4. Less witnesses, bigger holes.
