Raymond scored 20 for a million. Burke took a team with nothing and managed to rebuild the prospect system and add a few high end pieces to the team and well not sure what nonis is doing but he hasn't been bad.

I'm just saying, going back to the garbage dump to find food doesn't appear to have been working for the 6th and 8th worst teams in the league last year
EDIT: Though I am annoyed that we didn't retain Santorelli, he was seemingly the kind of player you want moving forward

Good point

Edit I'm pretty pumped for Santo, really liked him for you guys last year.

I think those are good signings *waiting to have my head put on a pike*. As I predicted a while back, I will bet that Booth gets 20+. As far as Santo, it's a bit more up in the air, as I think he won't be able to get the same ice-time as he did here. But he'll be, at the very least, a good utility player that can slot in where needed

Burkie and MayRay. Booth and Gillis shall follow.

- Nucker101

Nonis has to go there first then we'll see Gillis after.

What can Booth hunt in GTA?
- A_SteamingLombardi

Whitetail Deer mostly.

But who hunts close to home in a metropolis when you are a international hunter with loads of cash?

I agree with you re: Booth. With Santorelli I only question whether he was playing over his head at times and got some very good luck. Regardless he is a workhorse!

I predict Booth spends a lot of time injured.... because thats what hes done his whole career.

I predict Booth will have his goals mostly in losses.... because thats what Booth does, show up alone.

I predict Booth will put other activities ahead of the his team because thats what Booth does.

Wow. David Booth and Mike Santorelli, reunited in Big Smoke.

I wonder how much input Kyle Dubas had in the Booth sigining?

- Carol Schram

He just needs to get on base. Do we care about home runs? We care about OBP.

I think it certainly seems like the stars lined up for him. It will be interesting to see what can he do for an entire season

Well, I can understand your frustration, as he's certainly a bit of an enigma. But I think now that he's fully healthy (and avoids any stampeding moose or chipmunk beatings) I think he could score 20+ (given the right situation and ice-time)

@jeffisrael25: The 47-year-old monkey on the Leafs' back; the one thing David Booth cannot kill.

Ok, it could be just me, but doesn't that look like a younger, slightly leaner Mike Gillis (on the phone - the very first frame) For a second I had to pinch my snout.
- Zogg

Snow must have called the second time to ensure that we weren't taking Ho-Sang at 24... Sigh. I can't say that I enjoyed anything about that video. I envisioned more decisiveness from Guru Jim. He looked sedated.

I wonder if the change of scenery will hurt him a bit. Seemed really excited to play at home

Ya, everyone could use 20 goals mostly in losses. Would much rather lose 1-4 than 0-4.

I think it could certainly take some time to get adjusted with the various systems and team philosophies (in between that time I hope he stays fully enclosed in fully protective bubble wrap)

On a side note, I think it would be humourous if the three Vancouver outcasts end up playing on the same line
