Whoever invented the high five should really give themselves a high five

Yes I'm confident Raffl can match that output plus play a grittier game.

Lecav and Umberger are 2 guys coming off injury riddled awful seasons by previous standards. They still scored around 20 goals each. That makes 8 potential 20 goal scorers among your top 9 forwards. Why add a one dimensional scorer like Booth who isn't fit for 4th line duty?

You missed the point Baxter. The point is that the Flyers suck, their management is incompetent. And all but a handful of their players suck!

I'd switch Raffl to third line to balance out team old guys. And have Akeson in the AHL as first call up for a top six unless he is dynamite in camp. Then I like the idea of Winnik and trading Rinaldo. I'm like so over him, OMG.
- coffee junkie

I dont mind Raffl on the third line but If vinny is still here im looking ay that line to provide offense with sheltered minutes.

Akeson is either on the Flyers or waivers. So im being optimistic he earns a spot in camp based on how he played in playoffs.

Hollding out hope Rinaldo can provide energy without the stupid. So i would keep him around as the 13th fwrd. However, he could easily lose his spot in camp.

Can somebody explain to me why Umberger is a question mark for staying healthy, when he's missed all of 31 games in 8 seasons since becoming an NHL regular in the 05/06 NHL season?

Not likely, but there could be more courtroom time.

Can't believe the lawyer wrote an e-mail that told the guy to delete after reading.

Have you see the Sabres jersey history? Hideous is the new black, from the red and black things to the Buffaslug to the third jerseys, the Sabres are not above trying ugly to separate fans from their money

Someone spilled mustard on their grey shirt and the other people sitting around kind of went "huh....that's...I kind of like that!"

But they were incorrect.

Because if they would have signed these guys for cents more than other teams are paying they would be critisized for picking up scrubs other teams didnt want.

of course i have. i know the jersey is a year old, but i saw a pic of it today, and i threw up in my mouth. it's shockingly bad, even for them. my question is, how does the nhl approve and allow this?

Maybe its because I didn't get to see the guy as a player, but call me crazy for questioning bringing anyone that was part of Leafs management.

That organization needs an enema.

Or the fact that the 'Yotes lawyer met with city council minus the Mayor the day prior to the deal being voted on to discuss the problems council would raise in the official meeting. That's as back door as you can get.

That's right, Toronto signs Booth. Why didn't we sign him? Flyers sign Booth. Why did the Flyers sign that bum!

The team Poulin was accountable for (marlies) has been very productive under his watch.

The Flyers could use a quality hockey man to watch over the Phantoms.

Wouldn't mind adding Poulin to the staff.

I'll take Mike Kelly added to the staff.
