Corsi's are those weird things that fly around in spring summer...they're white and are really light and float around, and they're just a collection of thin white strands with a small central location...some people call them wish bugs or some odd non-Corsi thing.

Fenwick is an Asian dish, consisting of assorted salted meats stuffed inside of a shark's head and served over monkey feces.

there were some intimations by Hope Smoke on twitter that between Poulin and Louiselle and the coaches, there were too many cooks in the kitchen when it came to player instruction/criticism.
- wilsonecho91

This season Poulin put the advanced stats guy on the ice with the coaches. He talked to Carlyle about it.

Yeah, that Dubas didn't watch the games all the way to the Leafs front office.
- Tomahawk

Well I don't know what he did, and don't know a ton about him. But I like the idea and premise of the hire. Bring in a young guy with a fresh perspective to add to the mix, and to groom for the future. I think it would be better with a stronger GM in place. I'd like to see the Flyers hire a similar asset, not as assistant GM, but in a lesser role to bring along and add a fresh perspective as well to the mix in the front office.

Terms?
Not sure why the Flyers aren't in on some of these guys like Stempniak. I mean with all that cap space blowing a hole in Hextall's pocket you figure he would be more active.

19 points in 66 games, and a +1. You confident in any of the Flyers potential 4th line wingers matching that output?

Right now the Flyers have lots of question marks up front.

The only players who you have to be fairly certain what you are going to get is the following....

Giroux, Simmonds, Read, Voracek, Couturier, and B. Schenn. After that, the rest of the forward core is one question mark after another.

Yes I'm confident Raffl can match that output plus play a grittier game.

Lecav and Umberger are 2 guys coming off injury riddled awful seasons by previous standards. They still scored around 20 goals each. That makes 8 potential 20 goal scorers among your top 9 forwards. Why add a one dimensional scorer like Booth who isn't fit for 4th line duty?

I believe he should be. With the current mix of forwards, who else do you put there?

Not sure. I'm not convinced Lecavalier will be on the team when camp starts, and also question Umberger's ability to stay healthy. I believe Raffl will play in the top 9.
Rosehill and Rinaldo are candidates for 4th line roles, which is a waste of time.
