Gazdic is a tough SOB I'll give him that...

I'm sure he's gonna be real excited to play the Flames this year

He'll get plenty of action anyway.

...that old Bastard is gonna knocked the fck out by the Gazdic this year...I'll put my impeccable reputation on the line, Pinocchio!

Hangin out with Money has him feeling like he's 20 years old again ... Until they design a pop-off visor for GazRichard to wear he will never be in the same league as Mgrats in my eyes.

...speaking of pop off visors. Why hasn't the NHL (or Nike RBK etc) invested in designing a good one? It would help solve the dilemma of players taking their helmets off, and prevent so many hand injuries. Seems like a huge win win for the NHL, and Nike or whoever could make a killing off of it.

So Mcgratton should only fight the old guys while Gazdic fights the young guys? League rules don't make McGratton tougher.

Yeah, 3 heavyweights to contend with is gonna keep him busy. Fortunately with so many face punchers in the line up it will be kinda like having a power play for much of the night 5X5.

I agree with injury. I was just talking about starting roster. It doesn't make sense to have young guys sitting on the bench. You sit the tough guys out if anything.

Also, Jones is a much better player than Bollig. Mgrattan had a carear year last year. He should be moving up the depth chart

Glenx - Stajan - Hudler
JG - Monahan - McGrattan
Colbourne - Backlund - Raymond
Bollig - Bouma - Jones

I swear I read it somewhere but I can't seem to find it but it was about Mcgrattan being the best fighter in the league. It had stats and everything but I would like to look more into that.

- tmurph

If only he was allowed to punch a goalie in the face on a break away attempt. Now that would be a unique move

Yeah, sounds about right. Today's Flames fan sounds exactly like an Oilers fan from 2011-12.

Then reality sunk in....

Don't assume we'll make the same mistakes as the Oil did. We may make worse ones but to early to lump us in the same group no?

Haha....I'd actually love to see it haha. Just for a couple of games at least anyway.

In all seriousness, Bollig-Money-JG could be a solid line.

Get real. If the Flames make no mistakes they will be 2-3 years minimum from being a quality playoff team. Even if you have the right players in the system, and the right veterans to help them along, they need time to develop.

I agree absolutely. Now if we pick in the top 5 (incl 3 1st overalls) 5 or 6 years running I will shoot myself.

Read the post again you tard. I was merely absolving Whipper of that stupidity.....you on the other hand thought projecting Money as a comparable to Keith Primeau was laughable so who knows what goes on in your fantasy world where Unicorns fart rainbows and leprechauns dance around your front yard singing .

You won't need to. Flames started this rebuild in way better shape. 18 year old kids can barely make an impact for 2-3 years, realistically. Hall and Ebs are at that level now...Nuge should be by this time next year, Yak the year after.
