You probably made a similar sarcastic post the week before MSL was traded

Even if we lose him to free agency, he'll NEVER wear a rags uniform.

Once it got out to the press and Marty acted the way he did everyone knew he was leaving, but even still I don't think anyone wanted him to leave. It was the way he left and it went down that made everyone upset more so then him leaving.

So if Steven decides he wants to leave the Lightning of course all the Tampa fans would hate it but they would not hate him because he is a classy kid and he would do it the right way. But I don't see him leaving, hope I am right as he is a great guy from personal experience. By the way the leg is healed, he can finally rotate his ankle and lower leg while skating so he has his burst of speed back along with the ability to hard cut again or so I have been told.

I thought SS was pretty good in the playoffs for being injured, but it was the first time I really noticed how excellent of a skater he is at his 100% best.

I guess I became so spoiled watching his quick inward-cut when driving the net that I forgot how monumentally difficult that move is.

Yeah its amazing to think he was that injured the final 1.5 months of the season. They had to tape his leg so much he could not even move it in his boot in order for him to play. He would wait to get the tape removed after media left because it would then swell and need a massage.

If you look at the end of last season and see how he played it really shows how good of a goal scorer he is, of course he would set up and use his one timer on a pass but if you noticed he changed his style some and would go right at the net (instead of sly inward cuts and misdirection) not even disguising it hoping for a pass or rebound to pound the puck at the goalie and got a few goals that way since he couldn't cut... Toronto hat trick, 2 goal buffalo game. His end to end goal in game one though I felt was starting to show he was becoming Steven Stamkos again.
