At some point theres got to be abit more than just crossing our fingers and hoping said player fulfills his contract.

I certainly dont think u want one model for dealing with all players; but in js's case, I think enough questions have arisen about his game, that being cautious is the right course of action.

That's what I tend to do. I don't usually have beer to just "enjoy" the way you have been listening with a bunch of the others. I feel like a loser since I'm not a fan of all the "craft" beers that everyone is gushing over. It just sits too heavy for my liking. Hence the piss beers because they go down really fast

Plenty of craft beers taste like rotten fruit to me. What I'm suggesting is that find out what kind of brew you like (Lager/Pilsner/Ale, etc) and try a bunch of those. The Canadian mainstream beers are as bad as the American ones...AVOID THEM! They are full of chemicals and preservatives. Euro beers are much cleaner, and plenty of small breweries make quality Lagers and Pilsners as well if you want to avoid the Ales.

I remember enjoying Steigl a few times. There were a few local ales over in England that I could've spent a lifetime drinking. So good, especially since they were hand pumped!

His potential is high, so I wouldnt be shocked if he was very trepidatious on less than 5.5-6 long term!

3.5-1 year.
And do it all again next year.

Id even see if I could get him for 2 years @4. But id be surprised if he went for it.
Its taking ages for a reason. Id wager its not mact thats holding up negotiations...

Was discussing Sutter with Pitts fans a bit, and looking at their cap situation they have 6.4M in space with Sutter and Spalding to sign. I don't doubt they can get these guys locked up for that amount, but it may be worth a call on Sutter for a prospect and a pick in case Pitts wants some cap flexibility.
