he made every partner he had worse. Everyone. Not just due to minutes, not just due to pp. He's a bottom pairing guy at best and regardless of how capuano used him he is not a top 4 guy.

What's your definition of enforcer? Mine is the heavyweight of the team who mostly fights the other teams heavyweights. If you're talking about protecting star players like Gillies, O'Reilly, Schultz, Semenko etc etc did back in the day then that's a different debate because since they added the instigator rules years ago those days are over. Today's stars pretty much get mugged on a nightly basis because of the instigator rule.

I agree. The isntigator penalty to me ruined one of the most exviting things about the aport. The retribution aspect of it but as far as "enforcers" go even by today's standards he wasnt noticeable to me in that way. Not much of a hitter and didnt seem to drop the gloves too often sometines when it seemed warranted. With that said hes a much better hockey player than I thought in the limited times we saw him.

Hes a five six on a bad team with a good coach. Guy is awful. If you consistently give the puck away, get muscled off the puck, and take yourself out of the play youre not a good defenseman whether you play five minutes or twenty six. Doesnt matter whether youre on a good team or not. If you suck you suck.

This is true. The guy honestly shocked me a few times with his speed. Pretty good skater. If he plays a limited role I dont see the harm as long as hes not depended on for something more than that by you know who.

The bad news is I'll do it voluntarily to watch other teams play

amac is so bad it hurts...i truly believe the defense is better today even without any moves simply bc he isnt on the team. i am so much more confident knowing he cant turn the puck over.

I agree. Didn't realize how good of a skater he was. He is perfect in the role he has now. Plays in about 1/4 of the games and is well liked by his teammates. Carkner on the other hand

in boultons defense the guy did have 8 fights in 23 games...averaging more than 1 every 3 games. its pretty significant.
