I seriously hope they change the lottery system like they're discussing so the odds aren't so weighted for the worst team. Only because Sabres fans have been such utter douche bags on our thread for far too long now

That's a long time. Johnny Unitas must have been your first keeper.

What does the "keeper" part mean? That you keep having no life?

Was just going back and fourth with Ek on the main blog and he said he heard Bailey, Del Colle and something else for Kane. I told him if the something else was small I would make that deal now!
- Vukota

You'd rather trade those assets for Kane as opposed to Bogosian?

Kane would be great on Tavares' wing but Brock Nelson is a similar type and only going to get bigger and better. If the isles are going to give up a piece like Del Colle I personally would prefer a top PP dman who can log 20+ a night.

I would do that in a heartbeat.
- Spartiarti

That succinctly??? Picking up a power forward does not address the biggest need which is defense. The del Colle kid is prob gonna end up being Tavares winger...

You guys could rekindle the ridiculous debate about exactly how much AMac sucks. That was riveting!

T.J. Brennan will wear number 4 with the Islanders and Nikolai Kulemin will wear number 86!

Couldn't figure out why Kulemin picked 86 but I realized he was born in 1986.

Good year to be born

If Garth trades away a 1st rd pick(dal colle) it had better be for a top 4 defensman (or lead to such a deal) Kane is not what we need. I dont see Garth pulling a kind of "AP Physics" caliber sign & trade. As a GM, he still hasnt mastered using safety scissors and elmers glue.
- jmo16

Kane is 22 and under contract..if bailey MDC and a moderate third piece gets it done you jump on it...you can still use other assets such as grabner etc to get a dman

We keep 10 out of 17 guys. I actually won it the last 3 years in a row. Last two as an 8th seed just sneaking in and getting hot. In 24 years so far I've won 8 times Entry Fee $200 a year plus $3.00 a pickup $1.00 for trades

I don't do fantasy football but I have been very successful with fantasy hockey. I've learned the key is just being incredibly active on the waiver wire. They tried to limit it with bidding in our league last year but I made it work

Still haven't gotten paid yet though
