He was hampered by an illness that was not diagnosed properly, it was then found out he was suffering from Asthma, once they got it figured out he did well after his draft.

Apparently jordie benn played D III despite having never played college hockey, and Ryan garbutt played D III even though he played at brown.

Burn he got you on this one. I think he's incorrectly talking about the Central Hockey League, the North American Pro League below the ECHL.
Jordie Benn, Ryan Garbutt and David Schlemko all played a season there at some point in their careers. |

Don't doubt you. Would make sense that on e he's treated properly he'd be able to have better stamina Ect. Hopefully he keeps on tracking upwards.  |

That's not the point. Mirtle talking about DIII... His response was that Dallas has 2 of those guys, lists benn and garbutt.
Not talking about low level North American pro leagues. Not in question whether those guys played in those leagues or not. |

Div III is the lowest NCAA athletic level (ie: fewest sports). Div III schools do not offer athletic scholarships. |
