What do mean?

Is Full Kessel not training with Gary Roberts... the first fcuking person in the history of the universe to ever conceive of, or consume, a protein shake?

Dude. We're talking hockey. Who cares how many goals you score, you're only cool if you're attractive enough for the male audience.

I take yoga at work ... there is a woman there, early 40's, runner, in yoga pants, downward facing dog, right in front of me...

Paul Ranger and Morgan Rielly were both worse than Franson in that regard.
- jerseyleaf

not after about 20 games. Riellys horrible +/- was earned in the first 20 games or so, he was pretty solid after that. I have no problem giving him top 4 minutes this year, we need this guy to be a stud!

He has the pedigree. Would love to see this guy as a top pairing D-man (2015-2016?)

I really hope so! Leafs need him, Gardiner, and Nylander to pan out badly. Hopefully some other young guys turn out to be great picks too ( Johnson, Gauthier, Percy)

anyone check out the scherbak article on tsn? habs fans saying he was the steal of the draft, and Nylander is gonna be a bust.

This guy will be twice as good as nylander in a 5 year

Agree with johnnyboo on the Nylander comparison. I posted after the draft that I thought the Habs did better at 26 than the Leafs did at 8.
Why? Well from the videos and write-ups I have seen Scherbak is a very
determined and accomplished two way player already. He has very good
offensive skills although Nylander more flashy at this point. The big reason is that Scherbak is 6' 2' - 190 and will get stronger. He'll be able to handle tough NHL play sooner, better and longer

I think that where this kid was picked because of the 'Russian factor' he was one of the steals of the draft ...wait till he grows into his 6' 2' frame ...I'll bet he plays no more than 1 more year of junior if that ....size , play-making hands, scoring and speed ....look out

I also remember them going on and on about how Leblanc would be a more NHL ready player, how he was a two way guy and Kadri was a one trick pony blah blah blah. look how that turned out

There was a swedish guy drafted way too late a while back..what was his name?
oh yeah Zetterberg.

Johnson outperformed 14th overall pick in 2013 Alex Wennberg, this kid is looking like an absolute steal!

I do think it was a good pick by them though, sadly. I'm happy with Nylander though. Exactly who I was hoping Leafs would take at 8.

Yeah, he also had a good WJC. I'd rank Nylander and him 1 and 2 in the Leafs prospects system just for the potential they both have. I like the Swedish talent in the pipeline

Dudes the (frank)ing man!

It's pointless to listen to such nonsense.. I just find it utterly weird when grown men argue over which kid will do better.. Very alter-boyish...

I do love the internet, everyone is an expert. I mean, we trust a guy named French with our draft knowledge..
