Lawrie was hitting like poop. EE and Lind being out hurts for sure...but our slide started long before they got hurt. Just have a look at the numbers...it was the middle of June when it started.

I don't trust the Jays or Leafs at all. I'm always waiting for them to drive off the cliff. It was nice watching the Jays while they were still playing well though.

Frankly, I just don't trust AA any more to make any trades. He took a chance on gutting the farm 2 winters ago and it hasn't worked out. I think that fact should cost him his job, not allow him to continue to trade futures for other teams' dead weight.

Those who think he had a "good season" in the lockout shortened season really don't grasp how isolated his minutes where. And you simply can not pay a bottom pairing dman $4M+ a year.

$3.3m they can stomach for 1 year because they have the space, but he simply doesn't fit on this team going forward.
