Eller's more valuable to this team.

He doesn't/didn't put up the points... but the rest of his play wasn't horrible.

I'm just hoping he can be a steady 45 points per season 3rd line player.

If so... 3,5M a year is fair.

Meh, it would help him but he seemed lost for a good part of last season.

His play during the playoffs was encouraging, let's hope it wasn't just another flash and he can find some consistency in his game.

If he does, Bergevin will look pretty smart once again.... it's a gamble he obviously was willing to make.
