thing i don't get about Leblanc is that his first pro year, he played about 40 games in Montreal and didn't look out of place, especially for a 20-year-old. so what happened?

The rest of the team sucked as well.

Fair enough.

I still hope they add another depth defenseman. Drewiske doesn't do it for me.

Would Douglas Murray be OK?

I want all the pennies left spent on offensive help, personally.

Got injured, lost confidence and then the coaches lost confidence in him and finally the whole organization.
- BashCH

well to me it sounds like the organization failed him as much as he failed the organization.

Agreed, after the management change he wasn't in the plans anymore since he wasn't their pick.

I think he unimpressed in Hamilton in the lockout shortened season
And when the season started he was passed over by the 2 gallys

I like the mix up-front. Still not a lot of size but it's not like Bergy had lots of options in FA. I still think PAP is a good addition. I don't think a 20G-30A season is out of reach.

MDZ is good offensively, very bad defensively.
The fact that NASH, a team having trouble scoring goals, didn't offer him a contract should tell you that is very very bad defensively...

So Torts' system made him look good? MT's system might be good for him as well.

There will be plenty of depth defensemen left if one of the regulars gets injured.

Ryan O'Byrne still playing in Europe? I'd take him before MDZ!

He wasn't even the best player in Hamilton last year, a team that had almost no decent players at the forward position.... Andrighetto still surpassed him.

Leblanc is average in every aspect of the game.... but good in none of them.

Also, plenty?

Some of you seem comfortable have Pateryn, Beaulieu and Tinordi in the lineup all at the same time. I'm not. If god forbid, one of our top defenseman is injured, that's a likely scenario.

2 would need to get injured. If they're ready, they're ready.

Never seen him play, but they say he's close.
I'm just enjoying the return from TOR on the Grabovski trade. Grabovski now in NYI but still paid by TOR.

What a fall from grace! Mid-year, RDS was talking about an extension worth 3 per and saying how he was worth every penny.
