this story is full of BS, does anyone question the pin point accuracy needed to shoot a plane at curising height(30,000 ft) from the ground.

I would estimate the chances below 0%... so yeah, there is still a chance apparently

it's just the "i don't agree with his lifestyle" comments that i find amazing. it's beyond self-absorbed to actually think that it's something you can have an opinion on. it's like me saying "i don't agree with the sky being blue, and i don't agree with water being composed of hydrogen and oxygen".
- DoubleDown

This is your opinion. Which I happen to agree with.
However, others are allowed to have differing opinions, regardless of how inaccurate or misguided they may be.

Moonlight is simply reflected sunlight, which is still scattered by air molecules in the Rayleigh fashion that gives rise to a blue sky. Therefore, with a full moon out, the night sky is blue.

OK....

So an unfortunate accident in a war zone AKA casualty of war. I think the US had a lot of those in Iraq. Can we move on now with this anti Putin, nuke the Russians crap?

- l3ig_l2ecl

yeah why not let's just chalk it up to an unfortunate accident.

It is an unfortunate accident.

I don't get why people are trying to make it something else.

The US hit a school with a tomahawk missile killing over 30. They first denied it, then apologize and said it was the wrong target. Labeled as a warzone accident.

Same thing here. The difference is we were brought up to hate Russia, so lets blame Putin!!!

yes the US has never, ever been criticized you're right.

when you invade a neighboring country and the paramilitary units you're backing fire a (frank)injg surface to air missile at a civilian aircraft, it's more than an unfortunate accident, it's a (frank)ing colossal international blunder.
